Kindergarten

Primary

The Primary Program provides guidance for curriculum development and classroom teaching and learning, and it allows teachers to properly assess children’s learning as they progress.
The Cambridge Primary Curriculum Framework provides a natural progression through six stages of Primary education, from Stage 1 when children first enter Primary education (at the approximate age of 5) to Stage 6 when they usually move on to Secondary education (at about age 11).

Middle School Cambridge Checkpoint

The link between the Cambridge International Primary Program and IGCSE (the international examinations taken by students about age 16) is provided by Cambridge Checkpoint which covers teaching for the ages approximately 12-14.
The Checkpoint Framework covers the early and middle years of secondary and ends with the internal, available in Mathematics, English and Science, IT which indicates readiness to begin IGCSE.
Cambridge Lower Secondary offers a broad and balanced education for learners, helping them to thrive throughout their schooling, work and life.

In their last two years at The Lords’ International School, students prepare for AS Level and A Level examinations, in those subjects which, together with their teachers and the Academic Director, they have chosen as their special areas of study. These are the subjects that will form the basis of their university course.
To help students deciding on their academic and professional future, The Lords’ International School has a full-time Career Counselor who, together with the relevant teachers, will advise students on the courses that are best suited to their individual needs.
